A Treasure

Treasures are hidden in all of us. With that in mind, this blog is about self-discovery, creativity, and the beauty of life. As an educator, I look for little treasures in everyone and everything. In this blog, look for growth while I travel through my craft. I love paper, color, roses, and orchids. I love sunshine, children, family, and of course...life. I love God, and breezes, and free-flowing thoughts. Travel with me on my journey through the gardens of time.

A View of Nature

I enjoy nature and have always loved the beauty created by flowers and the integration of nature. I live in a wooded refuge where I love watching raccoons, skunks, deer, and even a red fox eating at a feeding log for our neighbor's cats that is near the woods at the back of our house.

It's amazing to me that the wildlife will come out of nature's safety and into man's surroundings. In this blog, you will see paintings that I create of flowers watercolor and acrylic.

I work with mixed media journaling. I will show you a few of my backgrounds. Visit my bolgspot often because I will add new paintings and more samples from my journal as my blog evolves.
